We offer a range of conversion solutions designed to support families with an ageing family member who may have limited mobility or use a wheelchair.
There’s no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to modifying a vehicle to accommodate a wheelchair, so we take the time to meet in person and understand your individual needs. We work with the whole family, OT’s and carers to ensure you get the best conversion solution for your unique needs.
Your safety and comfort is our number one priority, and so our conversions undergo rigorous and regular engineering and compliance testing to ensure we adhere to and exceed National and State safety requirements.
Whether you have a parent or grandparent living with you, or would just like to include them in more family outings and activities; converting your vehicle will help improve their quality of life!
“It’s the convenience and space that we enjoy most about our brand-new Kia Carnival wheelchair conversion. I was tired of getting in and out of the old station wagon using a detachable ramp, and we could barely fit all the grandchildren in the car. It was expensive and took us a while to make the decision, but the Automobility team were so helpful and patient and it has all been worth it!”
– Marie Mullet, VIC
“Thanks to our wheelchair car conversion from Automobility, my daughter Chloe doesn’t have to miss out on anything and can live a full and active life! It’s given her independence and the freedom to enjoy things like interstate travel, camping trips, going to concerts and sporting events. The best feature of our Automobility conversion is the manual pull-down ramp. It’s light and easy to use, and won’t break down or get stuck like other hydraulic or electric ramps.”
– Andrea O’Neill, VIC
